More about the Young Women to Watch Awards

Running Start's 12th Annual Young Women to Watch Awards will honor the youngest women in politics! Our annual awards dinner will also provide programmatic training to 3 of Running Start's most impressive alums, our Run with Running Start Finalists who have already conducted impressive social media campaigns to practice fundraising. At the Young Women to Watch Awards, the 3 finalists will campaign with attendees to ask for their votes, give rousing speeches, and eventually, one of them will become Running Start's #ILookLikeAPolitician Ambassador for a year. The Young Women to Watch Awards always draw 250 of Washington, DC's political elite as guests, along with about 20 of the women in Congress. This year the Awards are being hosted at The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC, and we hope it will be the best party on Capitol Hill!
